Benefits of IBEW Apprenticeship

      Safer working conditions
      Learn while you earn
      Pride and dignity
      Excellent wages
      Health and pension benefits
      State-of-the-art training

Apprenticeship requires a signed agreement between you and the IBEW-NECA, which insures
quality training both on-the-job and in the classroom. As an apprentice you literally earn while
you learn. As you advance through your training, you will receive predetermined pay increases.

In signing an apprenticeship agreement, you commit to participate in classroom-related training
as well as on-the-job training.

The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) accepts applications for apprenticeship from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. every Thursday.

Applications will be accepted at Messick Adult Education Center, Memphis Electrical JATC office, 703 S. Greer, Building A, Room 104, Memphis, Tennessee 38111.  You must apply in person.
