IBEW Local Union 474 established this site on August 28, 1998. We hope to update these pages at least monthly. If you have a question or comment about our site, or if you have an issue that you feel should be addressed on our site, please contact us at ibew474@comcast.net.

*VOTER REGISTRATION* We should be thankful every day that we live in a society where we have the ability to shape our country by electing responsible officials to conduct the business of America. If after being elected, the officials aren't performing as we think they should, they can be voted out. You can't however, take part in this process if you aren't registered to vote. Your Local Union has voter registration forms for all three (3) states that are part of our jurisdiction and will be more than happy to help you get registered.
That being said,the voter registration deadlines for the upcoming General Election are fast approaching. You must be registered by the following dates, in the following states, to vote in Novembers Election: Arkansas-10/5/2008, Mississippi-10/4/2008, Tennessee-10/6/2008.
Until further notice: Calls that remain unfilled after the normal referral process in the morning will remain open until 5:00 p.m. that day. Also: Per the new referral system, re-sign for Book 1 and Book 2 is required (each month) between the 1st and 10th.
