IBEW, Local Union 474 has established this page for the purpose of notifying individuals of jobs available through our normal referral procedure. The existence of this page does not change or enhance our referral procedure in any manner. The only "Official" notification of jobs available is for an individual to call the Local Union recorder at (901) 726-4062, daily, after 5:00 pm. We will try to keep this page posted on a daily basis and will show the date the jobs are to be referred. However, due to the nature of the "Internet" and the chance that servers may fail, there is no guarantee that this page will be posted daily.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ANY OF THE JOBS LISTED, YOU CAN CALL THE LOCAL'S JOB LINE AT  901-726-4062, AFTER 5:00 P.M., AND LEAVE YOUR NAME - CARD NUMBER - AND PHONE NUMBER  WHERE YOU CAN BE CONTACTED, OR YOU CAN COME TO THE MEMPHIS UNION HALL BEFORE 8:30 A.M. ON THE DAY THE CALL IS TO BE REFERRED, AND SIGN THE DAY BOOK IN PERSON.

There will be a Wild Game Cook off on Saturday March 20th starting at 12 noon here at the Union Hall / Bring a Dish or just come and enjoy the fellowship because there will be good food and fun for everyone

6 Regular calls to DYNA Electric: These calls will be for  Lagoon Creek: You will be referred Tuesday and start to work Wednesday: Special Conditions: There will be a Finger Printing Background check done, You will need Proof of OSHA 10 Training and a Drug Test is Required: You must bring a Driver License and Social Security Card for hire-in.
 
 
Re-sign for Book 1 and Book 2 is required (Each Month) between the 1st and the 10th at resigns@ibewlocal474.com
 

NOTICE: A change in the referral procedure was implemented on March 1st 2007. A member who receives 3 Turn Downs or Strikes will no longer roll off of the book, but will roll to the bottom of the book instead. You are still required to re-sign between the 1st and the 10th of each month, but with this new policy you will no longer roll off the book each time you have 3 Turn Downs or Strikes.
